OSM Garwolin

40 kW cogeneration installation

Commissioned: February 2026. A model designed for stable base-load operation with high self-consumption of electrical energy and process heat.

Electrical output40 kW
Operating hours7 200 h / rok
Electrical energy288 000 kWh
Thermal energy590 000 kWh
CO2 reduction~105 ton / rok

Energy model

The unit operates in base mode for 7 200 h per year. Electrical energy is consumed 94% on-site, while the recovered heat is used for plant cleaning and process applications.

  • Electrical self-consumption: 94%
  • Continuous operation in the base-load model
  • System total efficiency: ~88-90%

Financial effect

  • Annual revenue: 389 000 PLN
  • Fuel cost: 252 000 PLN
  • Operating surplus: 137 000 PLN / year
  • Operating lease: 60 000 PLN / year
  • Surplus after lease: 77 000 PLN / year
  • DSCR: 2,28

Why 40 kW

This is the optimal output for a facility consuming 350-500 thousand kWh annually. The model avoids oversizing, maintains full self-consumption and remains scalable for further deployments.

ZPM Mościbrody

40 kW cogeneration installation

Commissioned: February 2026. The unit was integrated with the refrigeration load and domestic hot water preparation.

Electrical output40 kW
Operating hours6 800 h / rok
Electrical energy272 000 kWh
Thermal energy557 000 kWh
CO2 reduction~98 ton / rok

Energy model

Electrical energy is used mainly by the refrigeration systems. Recovered heat supports DHW and process heating, with electrical self-consumption at 92%.

  • Electrical self-consumption: 92%
  • Stable refrigeration load stabilises the operating profile
  • Integrated with DHW and process heating

Financial effect

  • Annual revenue: 367 000 PLN
  • Fuel cost: 238 000 PLN
  • Operating surplus: 129 000 PLN / year
  • Lease: 60 000 PLN / year
  • Surplus after lease: 69 000 PLN / year
  • DSCR: 2,15

Why 40 kW

Steady refrigeration load ensures stable unit operation, high predictability of cash flow and full use of recovered heat in the plant process.

Gold Drop

40 kW cogeneration installation

Commissioned: February 2026. The system is tailored for daytime operation, with emphasis on supporting process tanks and the bottling line.

Electrical output40 kW
Operating hours6 000 h / rok
Electrical energy240 000 kWh
Thermal energy492 000 kWh
CO2 reduction~85 ton / rok

Energy model

The unit operates in daytime mode. Heat is used to warm process tanks, while electrical self-consumption reaches 90%.

  • Electrical self-consumption: 90%
  • Thermal support for process tanks
  • Flexible integration with the existing boiler plant

Financial effect

  • Annual revenue: 324 000 PLN
  • Fuel cost: 210 000 PLN
  • Operating surplus: 114 000 PLN / year
  • Operational payback period: 3.5-4 years
  • External financing: none

Why 40 kW

The unit size is suited to shift operation and the existing heat infrastructure. It preserves operating flexibility while minimising the risk of oversizing.

Putka

40 kW cogeneration installation

Commissioned: February 2026. The most profitable base-load model in the portfolio, built around 24-hour plant operation.

Electrical output40 kW
Operating hours8 000 h / rok
Electrical energy320 000 kWh
Thermal energy656 000 kWh
CO2 reduction~120 ton / rok

Energy model

The plant operates 24 hours a day, ensuring full self-consumption of electrical energy. Heat supports the baking process and DHW, while unit utilisation remains the highest in the entire portfolio.

  • Full electrical self-consumption
  • Support for the baking process and DHW
  • Highest number of operating hours in the portfolio: 8 000 h

Financial effect

  • Annual revenue: 432 000 PLN
  • Fuel cost: 276 000 PLN
  • Operating surplus: 156 000 PLN / year
  • Lease: 60 000 PLN / year
  • Surplus after lease: 96 000 PLN / year
  • DSCR: 2,60

Why 40 kW

The 40 kW model ensures full use of the unit output for 8 000 hours annually and creates the most profitable base variant in the entire reference portfolio.
